The present invention provides a bioactive extract obtained from the Vicia faba pod having pro-dopaminergic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and neuroprotective activity, thereby improving the survival of dopaminergic neurons. Therefore, this bioproduct is proposed in the treatment and/or prevention of neurological disorders associated with a reduction in dopamine levels, such as Parkinsons Disease and other Parkinsonian syndromes of varying nature. The invention also relates to a process for obtaining said bioproduct and a pharmaceutical composition that comprises it.
