PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a priming method permitting automatic priming without attaching/detaching a pack filled with a priming solution.
SOLUTION: The priming method is executed by a hemocatharsis control device for a hemocatharsis circuit comprising a filter for purifying the blood and an autotransfusion line connected to a blood outlet of the filter. The priming method comprises a first step of closing the autotransfusion line (closing an autotransfusion valve in the step S6) and a second step of feeding the priming solution to the autotransfusion line disposed between the position where the autotransfusion line is closed and the filter (operation of an auxiliary liquid pump in the step S4).
