PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a replacement device facilitating replacement of an indwelling catheter.SOLUTION: A replacement device 1 is used to extract an indwelling catheter 40 from a body cavity D and to insert an indwelling catheter 40 for replacement. The replacement device includes an outer tube 10, and an inner tube 20 that is inserted into the outer tube 10 and in which a tube 41 can be inserted. The inner tube 20 is formed of a flexible member and has a plurality of slits 24 formed along the length direction. The outer tube 10 is made of an elastic member inhibiting outward development of the inner tube 20. The distal end of the outer tube 10 includes a folded part 12 formed by folding it back inward.
