The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing hydrocolloid, which comprises the following steps: mixing and stirring an adhesive composition including a photo-curable adhesive monomer and a photoinitiator, and irradiating the mixture with ultraviolet rays to manufacture prepolymer syrup； mixing 30 to 60 parts by weight of a high absorbent material and the photoinitiator with 100 parts by weight of the prepolymer syrup to manufacture an adhesive hydrocolloid composition； coating the hydrocolloid composition on one surface of a release film and irradiating the coated hydrocolloid composition with light to acquire cured hydrocolloid； and releasing the cured hydrocolloid from the release film and passing the cured hydrocolloid through a hot drying chamber with a temperature environment of 60 to 180°C to evaporate volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Accordingly, the residual VOCs of the hydrocolloid are 100 ppm or less and thus the hydrocolloid has excellent absorptivity ratio and adhesive performance while being hypoallergenic.본 발명의 하이드로콜로이드의 제조방법은, 광경화성 점착성 단량체 및 광개시제를 포함하는 점착성 조성물을 배합하여 교반한 후, 자외선을 조사하여 예비중합체 시럽을 제조하는 단계； 상기 예비중합체 시럽 100중량부에 고흡수성 재료 30 내지 60중량부 및 광개시제를 혼합하여 점착성 하이드로콜로이드 조성물을 제조하는 단계； 이형 필름의 일면에 상기 하이드로콜로이드 조성물을 코팅한 후, 광을 조사하여 경화된 하이드로콜로이드를 얻는 단계； 및 상기 경화된 하이드로콜로이드로부터 상기 이형 필름을 박리하고, 60℃ 내지 180℃의 온도 환경을 가지는 열건조 챔버를 통과시켜 휘발성 유기화합물(VOC)을 건조시키는 단계； 를 포함하고, 상기의 방법으로 제조된 본 발명의 하이드로콜로이드는, 잔류 휘발성 유기화합물이 100ppm 이하인 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명의 하이드로콜로이드는 피부 자극이 적으면서도, 흡수율 및 점착성능이 우수하다.
