PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant disease control agent and a control method thereof, which contribute to the harvest of disease-free agricultural products without being affected by recent temperature fluctuations and environmental changes. According to the present invention, a montmorillonite powder finely divided into nanosizes is used, which comprises 74% by weight of silicon dioxide, 15.2% by weight of aluminum oxide, 3.8% by weight of sodium oxide, and 0.1% of potassium oxide. There is provided a plant disease control agent comprising 1% by weight, 2.9% by weight of magnesium oxide, 1.7% by weight of calcium oxide, 0.15% by weight of titanium oxide and 0.29% by weight of iron oxide. According to claim 2, there is provided a plant disease control agent comprising 2% dispersant obtained by adding water to the montmorillonite powder, and a plant disease control method using the same.
