PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dentifrice composition reducing adsorption of triclosan to a container, exerting sufficient action of the triclosan in the oral cavity during use, and offering superior sense of use.SOLUTION: The dentifrice composition includes the following component: (A) 0.005-2 mass% of triclosan (B) 0.5-2.5 mass% of one or more kinds of anionic surfactants selected from lauryl sulfate, N-acylamino acid salt and N-methyl-N-acyl taurate (C) 0.5-5.5 mass% of a potassium ion supplying compound in terms of potassium ions and (D) 20-60 mass% of water. A mass ratio (C/B) of the component (C) to the component (B) is 0.75-11, and a mass ratio (C/A) of the component (C) to the component (A) is 20-200.
