An assembly for the treatment of respiratory disorders, such as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), comprising a connector element (11), a respiratory mask having a mask body (1), and a coupling/releasing mechanism for coupling or uncoupling said connector element (11) to said mask body (1), characterized in that the coupling/releasing mechanism comprises a connecting pin (14) comprising a semi-cylindrical head (15), said connecting pin (14) cooperating with a wall structure (23) comprising an upper border (27) in which an opening (24) is arranged, said opening (24) having an internal profile that matches the shape of the semi-cylindrical head (15) of the connecting pin (14).
