The Digging Multi-Tool is a general-purpose go to compound hand shovel withasocket handle offset from the center attached to the spade at a non-rightangle inthe plane of the pan, for easier digging, cutting and moving of materialsthrough theadvantages of torque and geometry. The spade has a corrugated safety cleat toreduce risk of injury. Various edges may be sharpened appropriate to intendedcutting uses. The socket and associated exchangeable hafts have a Reuleaux(rounded) triangle cross-section to provide better control and feedback to theuserand more options for applying force and reach.
