A tablet printing device 1 comprises a transport disk 5 that transports a tablet 3 while supporting by suction the side face 9 of the tablet 3, and an inkjet head 6 that can print on the front and back faces 7a, 7b of the tablet 3 being transported by the transport disk 5. The front or back face 7a, 7b of the tablet 3 adheres to and is transported by a transport disk 4, and the side face 9 is inspected by a side face inspecting device 15. The tablet 3 is transferred from the transport disk 4 to the transport disk 5 by a tablet transferring unit 8, and the tablet is supported by suction by suction holes 18 formed on an end face 5a of the transport disk 5 with the entire front and back faces 7a, 7b exposed.
