The cam mechanism (24) enables braking of the self-triggering type and the locking force is inversely proportional to the braking force and the mechanism operates according to the friction ratchet principle.La présente invention concerne une laisse rétractable comprenant un boîtier (20) comportant une coque avec poignée (21). A lintérieur de la coque se trouve un dévidoir à roue (22) équipé dun mécanisme de freinage utilisant une came-poussoir (24) tournant sur une broche (29), et comportant un patin de frein (25), ledit mécanisme de freinage étant actionné par un bouton (23). Le mécanisme de came (24) permet un freinage de type à déclenchement automatique, la force de verrouillage étant inversement proportionnelle à la force de freinage et le mécanisme fonctionnant selon le principe du rochet de friction.
