PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sphygmomanometer having a music generation mode, which reliably detects K (Korotkoff) sound and accurately measures a blood pressure by canceling noise, when a microphone receives music as noise.SOLUTION: The sphygmomanometer 1 includes an arm band part 2 to be worn on the upper arm of a person to be measured, a pressurizing means 110 for pressurizing the inside of the arm band part 2, a control part 120, a pressure sensor 140 for detecting a pressure inside the arm band part 2, and pressure reducing means 111 and 112 for reducing the pressure inside the arm band part 2. The sphygmomanometer 1 receives pressure signals from the pressure sensor, controls the pressurizing means and the pressure reducing means by the control part 120, detects Korotkoff sound and measures the blood pressure.
