A knee joint orthopedic prosthesis comprising: a tibial bearing (12) configured to be coupled to the tibial tray (15), the tibial bearing having a platform (16) and a column (30) extending upwardly from the platform, the column having a rear side (34) including a concave cam surface (64) and a convex cam surface (62) located superiorly with respect to the concave cam surface; and a femoral component (14) configured to articulate with the tibial bearing, including the femoral component (i) a pair of separate condyles (44, 46) defining an intracondylar notch between them and (ii) a posterior cam (50) placed in the intracondylar notch (42), including the posterior cam a concave surface (56) of cam and a convex surface (58) of cam, in which the posterior cam does not make contact with the spine when the prosthesis is not in flexion , characterized in that (a) the concave cam surface of the rear cam makes contact with the convex cam surface of the column during a first bending interval that begins with a bending angle from about 50 °, and (b) a contact between the rear cam and the cam surface of the column changes to make contact between the concave cam surface of the rear cam and the concave cam surface of the column during a second bending interval which begins with an angle of flexion that is greater than the angle of flexion that marks the end of the first flexion interval and ends with an angle of flexion not exceeding approximately 150 °.Una prótesis ortopédica de articulación de rodilla que comprende: un cojinete tibial (12) configurado para ser acoplado a la bandeja tibial (15), teniendo el cojinete tibial una plataforma (16) y una columna (30) que se extiende hacia arriba desde la plataforma, teniendo la columna un lado posterior (34) que incluye una superficie cóncava (64) de leva y una superficie convexa (62) de leva ubicada superiormente con respecto a la superficie cóncava de leva; y un componente femoral (14) configurado para articularse con el cojinete tib
