600702 A disposable pump interface assembly (300) is disclosed for pumping organ perfusion fluid. The assembly (300) is removable from a pump driver in an organ care system that maintains an organ in a physiological state. The pump interface assembly comprises a housing (302) including an exterior (304) and an interior. A first deformable membrane is in fluid tight interconnection with the interior of the housing (302) to define a chamber. The housing (302) is configured to removably dock with the pump driver by way of a flange (328) extending from the exterior of the housing (302) configured to mate with a slot in the pump driver assembly and a projection (323) configured to abut one or more surfaces of the pump driver to force the housing toward the pump driver assembly when rotated. The pump (300) further includes a fluid inlet (308) and a fluid outlet (310). Fluid is expelled from the chamber in response to the pump driver deforming the membrane toward the interior side of the housing (302) and enters the chamber in response to the pump driver moving away from the interior side of the housing. The pump interface may be used in a system where the organ care system and the pump driver assembly can be reused more than once and the pump interface (300) and housing (302) can be discarded after a single use.
