PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for inhibiting the metabolism of medicines in small intestines to improve medicine absorbability to obtain high bioavailability.
SOLUTION: A polybasic unsaturated fatty acid such as DHA controls (inhibits) the metabolisms of medicines in small intestines, consequently improving the absorption of the medicines in the small intestines to give high bioavailability. The metabolism-inhibiting functions of the polybasic unsaturated fatty acid such as DHA can be applied to medicines for oral administration.
