PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical apparatus which prevents malfunctions even when the medical apparatus is placed in an environment where external pressure and internal pressure are different.
SOLUTION: The medical apparatus includes a switch 34 which has a pressing part provided to seal the internal part and the external part of the main body of the apparatus in an airtight manner on the outer surface of the main body of the apparatus and outputs input signals in accordance of the pressing force of the pressing part, a power source 47 provided inside the main body of the apparatus, activating parts 48-54 which is provided inside the main body of the apparatus and where electric power is supplied from the power source 47, a switching part 45 for switching states of supplying electric power to the activating parts 48-54 from the power source 47 in accordance with the input signal inputted from the switch 34, a pressure state detecting part 36 for detecting a difference between the external pressure applied to the outer surface of the main body of the apparatus and the internal pressure of the inside of the main body of the apparatus, and an electric power supply regulating part 46 for regulating the switching of the state of supplying electric power by the switching part 45 accompanying the pressing force of the pressing part in accordance with a detected result by the part 36.
