PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inhibiting Helicobacter Pylori.SOLUTION: The invention provides a method for inhibiting Helicobacter Pylori by feedback inhibition of 3-dehydroquinate dehydratase in a shikimic acid metabolic pathway utilizing a compound A or a compound B. The compound A is one of benzoic acid, a benzoic acid derivative, phenylacetic acid, a phenylacetic acid derivative, trans-cinnamic acid, 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid, 4-iodophenylboronic acid, or 3,4-dimethoxy alcohol.
