The present invention relates to the field of vaccines directed against viruses of the HIV family. More particularly, it relates to an immunogenic compound comprising a peptide of the following formula (I) NH2- [Nt]y-P-W-N-X1-S- X2-S-N-X3-X4-X5-X6-X7-I-W-[Ct]z-COOH (I)which is covalently linked to a carrier protein consisting of a CRM197 protein.It also concerns a composition containing this immunogenic compound and the uses of these immunogenic compounds and compositions for preventing and/or treating a condition caused by the infection of an individual with a HIV virus.
