The displays are arranged in attachment locations at an outer side of the microscope body, X-Y-coupling, a microscope-carrier arm and an eyepiece tube and respectively. A position symbol corresponding to actual X-Y position of the microscope body is display in one of the displays. An independent claim is also included for an application of organic LED-displays or OLED-film at a housing of an optical system for displaying information about the optical system or about patients.
