The present application relates to a catheter (1) with a balloon (5). The catheter (1) comprises an elongated member (2) having a proximal end (4) and a distal end (3). An inflatable balloon (5) is arranged on said elongated member (2) in an area of the distal end (3) thereof, the balloon (5) extending form a distal position (6) to a proximal position (7). The elongated member (2) comprises an inner lumen (8) extending from the distal end (3) to an end position (9) which is proximal to the balloon (5). The inner lumen (8) is open at the distal end. The catheter (2) further comprises a duct (12) connected to the proximal end (4) and to the balloon (5) at the proximal position (7), said duct (12) defining a separate lumen to convey a fluid to and from the balloon (5).La présente invention concerne un cathéter (1) à ballonnet (5). Un ballonnet (5) gonflable est disposé sur ledit élément allongé (2) dans une zone de son extrémité distale (3), le ballonnet (5) s'étendant depuis une position distale (6) vers une position proximale (7). L'élément allongé (2) comprend une lumière interne (8) s'étendant depuis l'extrémité distale (3) vers une position d'extrémité (9) qui est proximale vis-à-vis du ballonnet (5). La lumière interne (8) est ouverte à l'extrémité distale. Le cathéter (2) comprend en outre un conduit (12) relié à l'extrémité proximale (4) et au ballonnet (5) à la position proximale (7), ledit conduit (12) définissant une lumière séparée pour transporter un fluide vers et depuis le ballonnet (5).
