PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a claw of a fish and shellfish collecting instrument free from the need of frequent exchange of a claw cover.SOLUTION: A claw of a fish and shellfish collecting instrument comprises: an elastic metal wire rod 1 having a base part 1a extending in a first direction, a bent part 1c changing a direction so as to extend in a second direction from the first direction, and an action part 1d extending in the second direction from the bent part； a fixing part attached and fixed to the fish and shellfish collecting instrument； and a buffer part for supporting the elastic metal wire rod 1 to the fixing part so as to buffer the motion of the elastic metal wire rod 1.
