PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellently safe obesity inhibitor simply incorporable in life style of eating and having practical effects even in humans and to provide an edible composition comprising the obesity inhibitor formulated therein.
SOLUTION: The obesity inhibitor comprising actinidine, the actinidine and ascorbic acid or the actinidine, ascorbic acid and dietary fibers as active ingredients is provided. The active ingredients preferably contain an extract obtained from a kiwi fruit and at least the actinidine in the active ingredients is preferably coated with a hydrophilic substance. The edible composition for preventing the obesity comprising the obesity inhibitor is provided.
