PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of nonwoven fabric that has excellent cushioning property and touch while maintaining liquid permeability.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a nonwoven fabric for a liquid permeable surface sheet of an absorbent article according to this invention includes an open hole forming process to form an open hole on a protrusion part by a hole boring pin, which has an insertion section that tapers toward a tip, a shank section that supports the insertion section and a protrusion (burr) control section that is formed into constricted shape between the insertion section and the shank section.
