The present invention relates to a diagnosis kit and a control method thereof which adjusts a movement of a diagnosis sample moving in a flow channel of a diagnosis chip by a diagnosis sample movement adjustment unit, and controls a diagnosis chip movement adjustment unit for moving a diagnosis chip in accordance with drive of a diagnosis sample moving unit to move the diagnosis chip to allow accurate disease diagnosis. The diagnosis kit comprises: a diagnosis chip having a flow channel in which a diagnosis samples moves； a diagnosis sample movement adjustment unit to open and close one end of the flow channel to adjust a movement of the diagnosis sample； an optical information detection unit to detect optical information of the diagnosis sample； and a control unit to control drive of the diagnosis sample movement adjustment unit and the optical information detection unit. The optical information detection unit includes: a light source unit to emit a light to the diagnosis sample； and a sensing unit to sense optical information detected from the diagnosis sample. The diagnosis sample movement adjustment unit is linked to the optical information detection unit.
