[PROBLEMS] To further clarify the pathologic mechanism in FOP patients and to develop new therapeutic agents, treatment methods, diagnosis methods, etc. utilizing the obtained knowledge. The inventors have found a new finding that ectopic ossification caused by inflammation caused by trauma or the like occurs in FOP through PAR1. Based on this finding, the inventors have completed the invention relating to a drug or the like characterized by inhibiting ectopic ossification of FOP by inhibiting PAR1.
