The present invention provides a monitoring type thoracic cavity muscle group strengthening system, which comprises a thoracic cavity displacement detection device, a data processing equipment, a host computer, a receiver and a display device. The thoracic cavity displacement detection device is used for obtaining the thoracic cavity displacement of a subject and sending the data to the receiver of the data processing equipment and after processing, presenting on the display device to let the subject observe the measurement result. The training software in the host computer includes a database construction module of personal respiration parameters corresponding to thoracic cavity displacement, a respiratory muscle strength training prescription module, a respiratory muscle strength training guide module and a respiratory muscle strength training performance assessment module. The database construction module of personal respiration parameters corresponding to thoracic cavity displacement is used to construct a function relationship between the thoracic cavity displacement, the average forced vital capacity, and the first-second forced expiratory volume of the subject. The respiratory muscle strength training prescription module is used to set up the training targets, such as respiratory muscle strength induction training target values and the respiratory rate, based on the personal training expectation of the subject. The respiratory muscle strength training guide module includes setting the training period, training frequency per week, training steps repeating round numbers of each time, the interval between two adjacent training rounds and the training thresholds for the subject. The respiratory muscle strength training performance assessment module is to retrieve the average forced vital capacity and the first-second forced expiratory volume for each training of the patient from the database of personal respiration parameters corresponding to thoracic cavity disp
