PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromechanical conversion device capable of arbitrarily changing a bending amount of a vibrating membrane in units of elements.SOLUTION: An electromechanical conversion device comprises DC voltage applying means where a plurality of elements 108 each having one or more cells comprising a first electrode 102 and a second electrode 105 provided by sandwiching a gap between the first electrode 102 and the second electrode 105 is formed, the first electrode 102 and the second electrode 105 are electrically separated for each element 108 respectively, and the DC voltage applying means independently applies DC voltage to the first electrode 102 for each element 108.
