PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mushroom sorting apparatus that can improve the sorting workability of cultivation containers such that a separating/conveying mechanism separates cultivation containers in the pushed state on a conveying path and conveys them at constant intervals to allow a removal mechanism to push and remove the cultivation container conveyed at constant intervals, while the separation of the cultivation containers avoids the falling-down phenomenon of the cultivation containers due to mutual contact friction of the cultivation containers.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a mushroom sorting apparatus comprises a conveying mechanism A for horizontally conveying a plurality of cultivation containers W, W such that the cultivation container in a front row are pushed by the cultivation container in a rear row in a conveyance direction while allowing them in a pushed state to be horizontally conveyed in series in a row and an elimination mechanism C for extruding and removing a cultivation container, which is determined as one in an ungrown state by a quality-determining mechanism B, from the transport path A1 of the transport mechanism on the side of the transport path onto the exclusion path C1.
