Provided is an apparatus for analyzing images by using optical flow. The apparatus comprises: a velocity vector calculation unit for representing motion of at least one pixel of an image obtained by projecting an object to a two-dimensional screen as velocity vector and an image identification unit for identifying similarity or difference between continuous images including the image by using the velocity vector.
