PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle speed control system for a combine harvester, enabling eliminating its travel test for making the instructive speed by a variable-speed operating element correspond to the output vehicle speed from a stepless variable-speed gear in high accuracy.SOLUTION: The vehicle speed control system includes a reference vehicle speed-setting means 103 for setting a reference variable-speed operating position H2 corresponding to an instructive speed L2 based on the detection value given by a reaping speed sensor 30 and that given from a variable-speed position detective sensor 38.
