A gearbox for pivot steering and traveling of a rice-wheat combine harvester comprises a speed change mechanism, a steering mechanism and a speed reducing mechanism inside a gearbox body (l). The speed change mechanism drives the steering mechanism, and the steering mechanism enables the combine harvester to travel through the speed reducing mechanism. The steering mechanism comprises a steering shaft (8). The steering shaft (8) is disposed with a central transmission gear (39). Clutch gears (38, 40), shift forks (22, 6), clutch discs (16, 12), tension springs (19, 9), reversing clutches (18, 10) and reversing clutch gears (37, 41) are symmetrically disposed on the left and right sides of the central transmission gear (39). The clutch gears (38, 40) are movably connected to the central transmission gear (39) through the shift forks (22, 6). The shift forks (22, 6) push the clutch discs (16, 12) to make the reversing clutches (18, 10) combined for power transmission. The tension springs (19, 9) each have one end resting on the corresponding clutch discs (16, 12), and the other end resting on the corresponding reversing clutches (18, 10). The reversing clutch gears (37, 41) implement transmission of the clutch gears (38, 40) through the combination of the reversing clutches (18, 10).
