Absorbent product comprising a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core enclosed between the topsheet and the backsheet, wherein the absorbent core comprising a liquid inlet foam material located closest to the liquid pervious topsheet and an absorbent fibrous layer located closest to the impervious backsheet. The liquid inlet foam material has in the transversal direction of the absorbent product two edge regions and one central region located between the edge regions.
