PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for reading precisely setting for an adjustable valve, without being affected by the magnetic field of the earth.
SOLUTION: This device includes a magnetic compass 10, and an alignment mark for aligning the magnetic compass 10 with respect to a fluid flowing direction, the magnetic compass 10 includes a reference face Pr, and a magnetic indicator attached to be turned over the whole three-dimensional space under an influence of a valve magnetic field. The magnetic indicator is mounted with at least one magnet 16a capable of receiving a magnetic field and having an N-S direction, and the at least one magnet 16a is arranged to make the N-S direction substantially perpendicular to the reference face Pr, when the magnetic indicator is aligned substantially perpendicularly to the reference face Pr.
