PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap to be reliably gripped with fingers for a removal operation even when being pulled in an axial direction and being rotated in a circumferential direction and also to provide the cap suitable for a medical connector since two kinds of operations, i.e., an operation for pulling-out in the axial direction by gripping a cap body and a ring shape handle with the fingers and an operation to rotate the cap in the circumferential direction and screw it onto the connector as the removal operations of the cap to be mounted on the medical connector, but the removal operations have to be performed even by a person with disabled fingers without feeling difficulty.SOLUTION: The cap includes a structure where one end is closed and the other end is opened, and has an outer shape where the side of a closed end is nearly truncated cone shape and the side of an open end continuously arranged from the closed end is a cylindrical shape. First linear ribs extending in the circumferential direction are arranged close to the boundary between the truncated cone part and the cylindrical part, and second linear ribs orthogonal to the first linear ribs are arranged in the cylindrical part.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】医療用コネクターなどに装着するキャップの着脱操作として、キャップ本体と環状持ち手を指で把持して軸方向に引き抜く操作と、キャップを周方向に回転させてコネクターにねじ嵌合させる操作の2種類の操作が必要であるが、手指が不自由な人でも困難を伴うことなく着脱操作が可能でなければならない。本発明の目的は、軸方向に引っ張る時にも、周方向に回転させる時にも、指で確実に把持して着脱操作を行うことができるキャップを提供することにある。さらには、医療用コネクターに適したキャップを提供することにある。【解決手段】本発明のキャップは、一端が閉塞し他端が開放構造を有するキャップであって、その外形は、閉塞端側は略円錐台状で、これに続く開放端側は円筒状である。そして、該円錐台部と円筒部の境界付近には周方向に伸びる第1の線状リブが設けられており、さらに円筒部には第1線状リブに直行する方向に第2の線状リブが設けられていることを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
