The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition which comprises water extract of Rubus coreanus Miquel as an active ingredient and has angiogenesis inhibition activity to a vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). A water extract of Rubus coreanus Miquel of the present invention inhibits phosphorylation of receptors of extracellular signal regulated kinase (ERK), p38, and VEGF caused by VEGF, inhibits proliferation of vascular endothelial cells with respect to VEGF, inhibits migration of vascular endothelial cells by VEGF, and inhibits artery sprouting by VEGF, and thus shows angiogenesis inhibition activity. Consequently, a water extract of Rubus coreanus Miquel can be utilized for preventing and treating eye diseases such as glaucoma, diabetogenous retinopathy and cancer diseases which are caused by angiogenesis.본 발명은 복분자(RubuscoreanusMiquel) 수추출물을 유효성분으로 포함하고 혈관내피 성장인자에 대하여 신생혈관형성 억제 활성을 갖는 약학적 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 복분자 수추출물은 VEGF에 의한 ERK(extracellular signal regulated kinase), p38, VEGF 수용체의 인산화를 억제하고, VEGF에 대한 혈관내피 세포증식을 억제하며, VEGF에 의한 혈관내피 세포이동을 억제하고, VEGF에 의한 대동맥 발아(sprouting)를 억제하여 신생혈관형성 억제 활성을 나타내므로, 신생혈관 형성으로 인한 당뇨병성 망막증, 녹내장 등과 같은 안구 질환 및 암 질환의 예방 및 치료에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
