PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and easy method to manufacture spherical polylactic acid fine particles suitable for skin care application such as cosmetics, face-wash agent and body soap.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of polylactic acid fine particles includes the steps of: forming droplets by mixing polylactic acid solution obtained by dissolving polylactic acid in which the content of a D body is 10% or more in a solvent and polyvinyl alcohol water solution in which the saponification degree is 68-85%, and stirring； getting polylactic acid fine particle aqueous dispersion by removing the solvent from the droplets by decompression； and getting the polylactic acid fine particles by removing water from the polylactic acid fine particle aqueous dispersion.SELECTED DRAWING: None
