PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for caring biological cells and epidermis and the like using atmospheric pressure plasma which is excellent in versatility and enables caring by high-density plasma.SOLUTION: The method and device for caring biological cells and epidermis and the like using atmospheric pressure plasma is characterized in that atmospheric pressure plasma P containing active species under atmospheric pressure is generated and is projected directly to the surface of single or aggregate biological cells C or the biological cells C are placed in plasma atmosphere to bring the atmospheric pressure plasma P into contact with the surface of the biological cells C, and thus, while the atmospheric pressure plasma P after contacting the biological cells C is exhausted, stimulation is given to the biological cells C and the chemical components are passed through the biological cells C for sterilization and modification thereof for the purposes of caring the biological cells C.
