PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the medical treatment head of a massager in operation to easily recover from a stationary state having occurred during the massaging force control.SOLUTION: The massager includes a medical treatment head 2 to contact and massage a human body, a force detection means S1 to detect the strength of massaging forces applied to the human body, and a control circuit 1 to control the driving of the medical treatment head. The control circuit 1 is provided with a force control means 1a to control the movements of medical treatment head according to the massaging forces detected by the force control means, a medical treatment head demonstration action control means 1b to forcibly move the medical treatment head, and a switch means 1c to switch the head control operation means between the above two control means 1a and 1b.
