Disclosed is a soft chewable veterinary composition for treating and/or preventing a parasitic infection or infestation (such as fleas (e.g. Ctenocephalides spp., Ctenocephalides felis etc.), ticks (e.g. Rhipicephalus spp., Ixodes spp., Dermacentor spp., Amblyoma spp., Haemaphysalis spp., etc.), mites (e.g. Demodex spp., Sarcoptes spp., Otodectes spp., Cheyletiella spp., etc.), lice (e.g. Trichodectes spp., Felicola spp., Linognathus spp., etc.)) in an animal comprising: a) at least one isoxazoline / afoxolaner / fluralaner analogue or derivative of Formula (I) (wherein the substituents are as defined herein)； and b) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, wherein the pharmaceutically acceptable carrier comprises one or more surfactants selected from polyethylene glycol stearate and a polyethylene glycol hydroxystearate. Also disclosed is a soft chewable veterinary composition comprising ingredients such as afoxolaner, Soy Protein Fines, a flavour additive (e.g. beef flavour), Povidone K-30, PEG 400, polyethylene glycol 12-hydroxystearate and Caprylic/capric triglyceride.
