A dental mouthpiece is provided adjacent to the patient''s chair that can be attached to a high-suction dental adapter for the purpose of assisting dental staff during dental procedures through hand-free suction and isolation. Such mouthpiece may include a body portion, a bowl retractor portion, and a suction connection base portion. In some embodiments, the body portion and the suction connection base (and the lower portion thereof) may be integrally formed, preferably by injection molding. In an exemplary embodiment, the mouthpiece is flexible, translucent, suitable for injection molding, highly heat-resistant, and can be formed of an autoclavable material. Such materials may include syringone.
