The invention relates to a localized cooling device comprising: - A cooling member (13), - A crystal (11) with cooling capacity by absorption of a near infrared excitation light signal, - An illumination system ( 14) intended to provide an excitation light signal, - Said crystal (11) having an elongated shape around a longitudinal axis between a proximal end and a distal end and having a closed constant external cross section and a central channel made at from its distal end, over at least part of its length, - Said cooling member (13) comprising a rod embedded by a first end in said central channel of said crystal and comprising a second projecting end forming a cooling finger (130 ).L'invention concerne un dispositif de refroidissement localisé comprenant :- Un organe de refroidissement (13),- Un cristal (11) à capacité de refroidissement par absorption d'un signal lumineux d'excitation proche infrarouge,- Un système d'illumination (14) destiné à fournir un signal lumineux d'excitation,- Ledit cristal (11) comportant une forme allongée autour d'un axe longitudinal entre une extrémité proximale et une extrémité distale et présentant une section transversale externe constante fermée et un canal central réalisé à partir de son extrémité distale, sur au moins une partie de sa longueur,- Ledit organe de refroidissement (13) comportant une tige encastrée par une première extrémité dans ledit canal central dudit cristal et comportant une deuxième extrémité saillante formant un doigt de refroidissement (130).
