Disclosed herein are methods of ameliorating or inhibiting critical limb ischemia or a condition associated with critical limb ischemia in a subject, whereby such methods comprise identifying a subject having a peripheral vascular disease, peripheral arterial disease, critical limb ischemia or a condition associated with critical limb ischemia and providing to said subject a composition comprising: a cell population, wherein the cell population comprises bone marrow total nucleated cells and red blood cells, an anticoagulant, and autologous plasma, wherein the composition has a viscosity of 1.5 to 5.0 centipoise (cP) measured at 37°C, wherein the composition comprises a viable cell dose and, wherein said composition is administered to said subject intramuscularly through a standard terminally-ported cannula needle, or a cannula side-ported needle or catheter comprising a plurality of ports and a closed end.Linvention concerne des procédés damélioration ou dinhibition de lischémie critique des membres ou dun état associé à une ischémie critique des membres chez un sujet, moyennant quoi de tels procédés consistent à identifier un sujet ayant une maladie vasculaire périphérique, une maladie artérielle périphérique, une ischémie critique des membres ou un état associé à lischémie critique des membres et à fournir audit sujet une composition comprenant : une population cellulaire, la population cellulaire comprenant des cellules nucléées totales de moelle osseuse et des globules rouges, un anticoagulant, et du plasma autologue, la composition ayant une viscosité de 1,5 à 5,0 centipoises (cP) mesurée à 37 °C, la composition comprenant une dose de cellule viable et, ladite composition étant administrée audit sujet par voie intramusculaire par le biais dune aiguille à canule standard portée de façon terminale, ou dune aiguille ou dun cathéter porté sur le côté de canule comprenant une pluralité dorifices et une extrémité fermée.
