PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately predict deformation of an organ based on intrinsic elastic dynamic numerical values to a patient in inserting a needle-like surgical instrument, and to safely and accurately insert the needle-like surgical instrument to the organ in the deep region of the patient.SOLUTION: The insertion support device includes: a means for arithmetically operating numerical information on the shape of the organ and the shape of the inserted needle-like surgical instrument and numerical information on the positions of both the organ and the instrument based on the tomographic image of the organ captured by a tomographic apparatus a vibration means for applying micro-vibration to the organ and a support information providing means for analyzing the vibration of the organ by the vibration means and arithmetically operating the elastic dynamic numerical value distribution of the organ by means of the elastography by the tomographic apparatus, and presenting support information in inserting the needle-like surgical instrument for numerically predicting the elastic dynamic deformation of the organ and the needle-like surgical instrument caused by insertion of the needle-like surgical instrument based on the previously input elastic dynamic numerical values on the needle-like surgical instrument.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】針状手術器具を刺入する際に、患者固有の弾性力学的数値に基づいて、臓器の変形予測を正確に行い、針状手術器具を患者の深部にある臓器に安全かつ正確に刺入できるようにする。【解決手段】断層画像撮像装置により撮像した臓器の断層画像に基づいて、臓器の形状及び刺入された針状手術器具の形状の数値情報、並びに両者の位置の数値情報を演算する手段と、臓器に微小な振動を与える振動手段と、前記断層画像撮像装置によるエラストグラフィによって、前記振動手段による臓器の振動を解析し、臓器の弾性力学的数値分布を演算し、前記針状手術器具について予め入力された弾性力学的数値とに基づいて、前記針状手術器具の刺入による前記臓器と前記針状手術器具の弾性力学的変形を数値的に予測する、前記針状手術器具を刺入する際の支援情報を提示する支援情報提示手段とを設けた。【選択図】図2
