PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule including useful intestinal bacteria and having excellent acid resistivity and particle diameter.

SOLUTION: The method for producing the capsule including the useful intestinal bacteria includes a step for forming the capsule including the useful intestinal bacteria by mixing an aqueous phase containing the useful intestinal bacteria with an oil phase using an oil and fat containing an emulsifier acceptable as a food, acceptable as the food, and capable of being liquefied at 40-50°C as a base material, at a temperature not lower than the temperature for liquefying the oil and fat to form a W/O emulsion, and mixing the emulsion with a liquid non-compatible with the oil and fat under a condition effective for forming the capsule.
