PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of green tea which can be expected to have effect for prevention and dissolution of obesity, by preparing a green tea-derived component effective for prevention and dissolution of obesity that lacks in green tea and adding the component to the green tea, and to provide green tea produced by the method.SOLUTION: The green tea leaf is extracted by hot water, the extracted liquid is concentrated to prepare the green tea-extracted concentrated matter. The obtained green tea-extracted concentrated matter is decomposed by an enzyme thereby obtaining the enzyme-decomposed matter. The obtained enzyme-decomposed matter is added to a green tea leaf or a green tea powder. The green tea-derived concentrated matter may be further added to the green tea leaf or the green tea powder. The addition amount of the enzyme-decomposed matter is 10-30 weight% to weight of the green tea leaf or the green tea powder.【課題】 緑茶葉に不足している肥満の予防・解消に有効な成分を緑茶由来で調製して添加することにより肥満の予防・解消に効果の期待できる緑茶を製造する方法、該方法により製造した緑茶を提供する。【解決手段】 緑茶葉を温水で抽出し、その抽出液を濃縮して緑茶抽出濃縮物を調製し、得られた緑茶抽出濃縮物を酵素により分解して酵素分解物を得、得られた酵素分解物を緑茶葉又は緑茶粉末に添加する。緑茶抽出濃縮物を緑茶葉又は緑茶粉末にさらに添加してもよい。緑茶葉又は緑茶粉末の重量に対して酵素分解物の添加量を１０～３０重量％とするとよい。【選択図】 なし
