A position tracking unit (17) tracks the position of the insertion element within the living being and a pressure determining unit (18) determines the local blood pressure at the insertion element within the living being. Based on the tracked position of the insertion element and the determined local blood pressure at the insertion element, a support information generating unit (14) generates support information which is shown to the user on a display (23).
