<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a monocyte-affinity material simply and inexpensively recovering monocytes in high purity and yield in a closed system, to provide a selective monocyte separating device and a device for culturing the monocytes using the monocyte-affinity material, to provide a method for a treatment with the same and to provide the monocytes and dendritic cells obtained by the method. <；P>；SOLUTION: The monocyte separating material is prepared by using the monocyte-affinity material having a sugar structure or the device filled with the separating material is provided. The method for separating the monocytes is characterized as capturing the monocytes using the monocyte separating material or device and recovering the captured monocytes with a solution of the same kind of sugar used in the monocyte separating material at high concentration.
