EVALUATION DU CONTACT TISSULAIRE AVEC UN CATHETER A L~AIDE DE PAIRES D~ELECTRODES ET REFERENCE DE MASSE COMMUNE ETABLIE A L~AIDE D~UNE CAPACITE DE CIRCUIT IMPRIME CONCUE
An apparatus includes a current source, an electroniccircuit and a circuit board. The current source isconfigured to flow an electrical current having a selectedfrequency between a pair of electrodes coupled to a medicalprobe. The electronic circuit is configured to measure asingle-ended voltage relative to ground that is formed on atleast one of the electrodes in the pair in response to theelectrical current, and, based on the measured voltage, toassess physical contact between the at least one of theelectrodes and tissue. The circuit board includes thecurrent source and the electronic circuit, and includes alayout that produces, at the selected frequency, apredefined capacitance between the current source andground, thus forming a reference for measurement of thesingle-ended voltage.
