PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiographic image photographing system which enables a photographer to immediately move to a photographing chamber after irradiation of radiation is ended and start preparation for the next photographing, and is therefore user-friendly to the photographer.SOLUTION: The radiographic image photographing system 50 includes a plurality of bucky devices 51 on each of which a portable radiographic image photographing apparatus 1 can be loaded and respective display means 51c made to correspond to the respective bucky devices 51 inside a photographing chamber Ra, and further includes a console 58 outside the photographing chamber Ra. The portable radiographic image photographing apparatus 1 prepares thinned data Dt in which data are thinned from read image data D by a prescribed ratio and transmits them to the console 58.
