PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for detecting electrical activity in tissue of an individual such that influence from noise from peripheral environment is substantially restricted or removed.SOLUTION: The electrical activity in the tissue is detected from the tissue between a first point and a second point on the skin of a user. A voltage signal including an interested signal and an unnecessary signal is generated according to the detection. The voltage signal is amplified without substantially amplifying the noise so as to amplify the interested signal and the unnecessary signal.
