A cleaning agent composition containing the following components (A), (B) and (C): 1 to 20 weight % of a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether carboxylate (A) in which the average number of additional moles in the polyoxyethylene is 3.5 or less and the number of carbons in the alkyl group is between 10 and 18； 0.02 to 10 weight % of a cationized hydroxypropyl cellulose (B) represented by general formula (1)； and water (C). (In the formula, R1, R2 and R3 each independently represent a substituent having a cationized ethylene oxy group and a propylene oxy group, and n represents a number between 20 and 5000 which is a number representing the average polymerization degree of anhydroglucose. The substitution degree of the cationized ethylene oxy group is between 0.01 and 3 and the substitution degree of the propylene oxy group is between 0.01 and 5.)
